I received this tool as a technician working for Kodak in the late 80s or early 90's, used it on prom replacement large copiers and printers. Hexacon model 4422 stedi-heat soldering iron station temperature control when the is resting in holder current cut by about 1 2, pulled from heat rapidly restored back to max temperature, not sure what temp.
