The MFR-H1-SC, MFR-HSR, and Oki are all high-speed label printers designed for various applications such as barcode labeling, direct thermal printing, and RFID tagging. Here are some pros and cons of each printer to help you make an informed decision:
MFR-H1-SC (Matthews Marking Systems)
Pros:1. High-speed label printing: The MFR-H1-SC can print up to 12 inches per second, making it ideal for high-volume labeling applications.
2. Durable construction: The printer is built with a rugged design, making it suitable for harsh environments.
3. Wide range of label media: The MFR-H1-SC supports a wide range of label media, including thermal, thermal transfer, and direct thermal labels.
4. Easy to use: The printer has a user-friendly interface, making it easy for operators to set up and operate the device.
Cons:1. Higher cost: Compared to some other label printers, the MFR-H1-SC is more expensive.
2. Limited connectivity options: The printer only has USB and Ethernet connectivity options, which may not be sufficient for some applications.
MFR-HSR (Matthews Marking Systems)
Pros:1. High-speed label printing: The MFR-HSR can print up to 12 inches per second, similar to the MFR-H1-SC.
2. Durable construction: The printer is built with a rugged design, making it suitable for harsh environments.
3. Wide range of label media: The MFR-HSR supports a wide range of label media, including thermal, thermal transfer, and direct thermal labels.
4. Versatile: The MFR-HSR can be used for various applications, including barcode labeling, direct thermal printing, and RFID tagging.
Cons:1. Higher cost: Like the MFR-H1-SC, the MFR-HSR is more expensive than some other label printers.
2. Limited connectivity options: The printer only has USB and Ethernet connectivity options, which may not be sufficient for some applications.
OKI (OKI Data Corporation)
Pros:1. High-speed label printing: The OKI label printers can print up to 9 inches per second, which is still fast enough for many applications.
2. Affordable: Compared to the MFR-H1-SC and MFR-HSR, OKI label printers are more affordable.
3. Wide range of label media: The OKI label printers support a wide range of label media, including thermal, thermal transfer, and direct thermal labels.
4. Versatile connectivity options: The OKI label printers offer a wide range of connectivity options, including USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
Cons:1. Lower print speed: The OKI label printers have a lower print speed compared to the MFR-H1-SC and MFR-HSR.
2. Lower durability: The OKI label printers may not be as durable as the MFR-H1-SC and MFR-HSR, especially in harsh environments.
Conclusion and Recommendation:If you require a high-speed label printer for high-volume labeling applications and have the budget, the MFR-H1-SC or MFR-HSR would be a good choice. However, if you are looking for an affordable option with a wide range of connectivity options, the OKI label printers would be a good fit. In any case, it's important to consider your specific needs and budget before making a final decision.
Either way it's suppose to work with the mfr 11 mfr 2200 series and mfr ps1300 power supplies. I have not tested it and have no way to test it. I bought this in a large lot of various soldering handles which I bought mainly for the Metcal MC 500 series handles which are completely different.
I don't have the ability to test it. This offer is for a soldering iron handle that i'm sure is by oki Metcal because the tip removal pad says oki. Anyway, this handle is sold as is and has not been tested by me. Sold as is.
