Sometimes the stss SW1E can be very sensitive since it is part of the Metcal oki smart heat technology, so if you get and amber light, the tip usually just needs to be re seated or turned around while in tool.

We ran a mx RM3E soldering pen and talon tweezers on each system we have, so we were able to use our single port stss 002 and stss 001 as dual port, like our mx 500p 11's.
